The first and perhaps the most important phase of manufacturing a heart shaped tea bag is to get a simple fill able tea bag. They have such a structure which do not allow the leakage of the product from the inside when they are folded into a double-layer structure. But it will enable the mixing of the liquid with the powdered tea inside with great efficiency. Drawing the heart:
After getting the tea bags from the markets, a heart shape is drawn on them with the help of a lead pencil. The final shape of the end product is determined largely by this process. Cutting of the bag:
This is another essential step in the formation of the heart shaped tea bags. In this stage, the heart shape drawn with the help of lead pencil on the bag is cut down with the help of a scissor or sharp knife. The cutting takes place in such a way that the inner side of the drawn heart is torn down carefully with the help of cutting machine to make sure that the marks of the lead pencil are not included into the final product. Sewing:
In this stage, the torn shape of the heart is sewed with the help of simple sewing machine or even by hands. Simple sewing machines are usually available in the homes for small stitches. Even if the machine is not available, then the same function can be completed with the help of stitches by hand with the help of a thread and a sewing needle. The size of the bags are small; hence it would take hardly four to five stitches to give it the shape of a heart. One thing that must be considered in this process is that a small portion on one side of the bag is not sewed and is left as it is for the filling of the tea.
Filling of the tea:
The heart shaped bag is filled with loose tea with the help of a small teaspoon. A maximum number of two to three spoons can be poured into these bags. After putting the loose tea inside, the opened portion of the bag is sewed up in order to make sure that no leakage is possible through the bag.
Baker’s twine:
In this stage, a baker’s twine is attached and tied to the heart shaped bag to make it convenient to use. This is a type of a cord or string which is able to be tied to the bag with great ease. It can also be ornamented by adding a small heart shaped decoration structure can be attached to the open end of the twine. Now the bag is practically available to be used by the consumers.
